Start-up company providing professional-quality, on-demand video surveillance solution. Secure-i Hosted Video Recorder is a hosted video platform requiring no client side administration or maintenance for small businesses and residences.

Director of Technology

Report to CEO and COO. Hands on IT manager and direct staffs of outsourced development and design firm and off-site data facility.

Researched and developed network architecture for creating fully hosted on-demand solution that could house 1000′s of users.
Designed graphics, hand coded and modified PHP/xHTML/CSS front end, and Implemented first demonstration server of AXIS Subscriber Technology Services (AXIS STS – Hosted Video Platform) in U.S. With budget of $400,000, assembled development/design team, researched and established relationship with top tier data center facility and implemented data center network team.
Led rapid development and implementation of multi-tier, on-demand web architecture for hosted video recording system (HVR) based on LAMP environment.
Created marketing strategies, including developing company websites (www.secure-i.com), and (www.secure-integrations.com) , corporate logo’s, branding, marketing materials and print collaterals increasing website traffic by nearly 300% over a four-month period.
Engineered the largest indoor mesh deployment of its time using Firetide Technologies. The network consisted of 32 Nodes, 60+ cameras, mobile devices, and Video Analytics.

APPLIED WATCH TECHNOLOGIES Crystal Lake, IL 2007

Offered open source powered security appliances in all major vertical markets within information security. Endace Limited acquired applied Watch Technologies in October 2007.

Managed IT staff, all internal network assets, Sales Engineer Team, Quality Assurance Team and Network Operations Team. Created website and marketing materials. Reported to CEO and COO.

Designed and constructed company website based on custom graphics, PHP/xHTML/CSS template and WordPress. Created company marketing materials and print collateral. Realized 200% website traffic increase over eight months as a result.
Developed all Applied Watch products’ Graphical User Interface and usable visual experience. Worked with Java Developers to integrate the new GUI into the Applied Watch Command Center for major release 2007.
Captured multiple contracts totaling more than $200,000. Managed T&M contracts for installation, training, services including AOL, 1800flowers.com and Cricket Communications.

Navy and Marine Corps Intranet San Diego, CA

Network Manager 2006 – 2007

First Class Petty Officer working directly with EDS on Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the world’s largest network containing over 700,000 active users. Managed team of 20 network engineers.

Supervised technical troubleshooting for enterprise, peripheral and user level issues ensuring minimum down time and achieving 100% customer satisfaction.
Directed network software and hardware corrective actions for Local Area Networks (LAN) and Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) minimizing user and network down time and increasing efficiency and workflow.
Administered 200 clients in a secure Windows Environment to include Domain Controllers, Back up Servers, Exchange Servers and FTP servers. Implemented Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process.
Managed 8-person information assurance team bringing full National Security Agency and Defense Information Systems Agency compliance across 3 enclaves servicing over 20,000 customers.

Operations Manager 2001 – 2005

Directed all operational, technical, and administrative training of a 36-person department while routinely advising senior management on technical issues.
