dre.im is finally sporting a new coat of paint, plus a few added improvements. I finally got around to creating a new custom theme using Genesis Framework, and the site was moved over to Page.ly who will do the heavy lifting on the hosting front.
An area I wanted to focus on during the redesign was how I share my content. I do an awful lot of content sharing all over the social world, which is great, but something about it has been really bugging me. Over time, as I’ve shared things like images, links, quotes, and so on, I have found that it’s gotten a bit cumbersome to find old content I want to re-share, or simply revisit. To fix this I’ve implemented custom post formats which are now natively supported by WordPress. The idea being I’m retaining my content, and building a better way to find what I share.
We all know I’m not much of a blogger, but I do like to share content. Post formats will enable me to easily keep content fresh on the site without having to write a long post, which I never seem motivated enough to do. Hopefully this move will provide more value to my 2 visitors, and who knows, maybe bring in a few more.
So cruise around, and let me know what you think. I know there are various areas for improvement, and I’m still tweaking things.
Have a great one.

I love this great, simple design, and I am working on a design for my blog based on Genesis and using post formats, however I haven’t really found a great tutorial on how to implement them fully.
Did you follow a tutorial or something to implement post formats? Or where do you get the information to start looking?
