Once a Sailor Always a Sailor

Dre Armeda · Oct 23, 2015 ·

Life takes many turns. In October 2007 I separated from the Navy. It was a great decision that has been the conduit leading to where I am today. My time in the Navy however is the foundation that afforded me the opportunity to move through that conduit with success.

Today would have marked 20 years of active duty in the World’s Finest Navy had I stayed in. I am glad I got out when I did, but I am and will always be proud to be a U.S. Sailor!

Dre, I couldn’t agree more. I was a sailor, too, and was separated over 25 years ago. I enjoyed my service and it absolutely led to great things, including my present work in WordPress and editing. The military is not for everyone, but it can be a great life.
