You are here: Home / It has been a tough 14-16 months for me. I have been dealing with some serious neck and shoulder injuries, and after a lot of hard work on the mats and in the gym, I finally felt comfortable again on the competition mat this weekend. This moment was a big deal to me. I closed out my bracket with a Bow and Arrow choke after losing to a really tough dude in my first match. I reached the podium and helped my team win the overall team trophy! Thanks Professor @kway00, Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Menifee, and the entire Carlson Gracie Team for all the support. A big shout to my trainer @caseycorrigantraining And the entire @selfmadefamilyinc family! A big thanks to Professor Paul Silva for corning me in this fight. It helped guide the match! No more competitions for the year, but rest assured, I'll be back on the mat this week learning and getting better.
