Here’s a quick post on IE conditional styles by @leemunroe. Both techniques in this post work, I prefer to use conditional classes in the HTML tag:
I’ll be doing this as I work on cleaning up some behaviors here on dre.im. Currently all IE7/6 visitors are being routed to Browse Happy.
Edit: Here’s a couple things to consider, sent over by @GaryJ
HTML5 does not support the use of classes in the HTML tag.
Caching plugins like W3TC don’t play nicely with the use of conditional classes in the HTML tag.
Looks like I’ll be using IE conditional style sheets again 🙂
