This journey is forever. . . Jiu Jitsu is about embracing something bigger than us all. Allowing yourself to become part of something that offers you infinite opportunities, if you let it. It’s honest and hard, but also generous, always giving back to you when you’re willing to give it your all. It’s not about belts or promotion, it’s about commitment and progression. . . I am super content with myself when I am training consistent and helping my teammates, that’s my general gauge for feeling good about my journey. That all said, it’s still really nice when your Professor acknowledges that you're focused on being consistent and stubborn enough to keep forging forward. Today he let me know with my second stripe and I appreciate it. . . Thanks Professor @kway00, and the entire team for keeping me honest! . .
